When PowerPoint copies it, it copies at the zoomed quality, rather than the original. Try going back to the original PowerPoint file.

You could report the picture file size here, like is it in 500k- 1Meg, or more or less than 100k. In second case your only option is to keep the picture size as small as possible to retain the quality (resolution). EDIT: If the pictures look good in original presentation then lets try this. IT immediately suggested wiping my entire computer clean. I was uncomfortable with this as I am a graduate student and I have a LOT of files on my computer (some of which were not backed up on a Cloud device). After an hour or so I lost contact with him (error on his end or mine, I cannot say) and I thought it was a sign to wait it out. Sadly refreshing will not work for me and although I installed an update about half an hour ago, I am still receiving the same error. Repeat, do not buy it, it is not stable yet! Usually I am an early adopter of software and can live with a few bugs here and there. Not being able to go into slideshow mode kills the purpose of PowerPoint, this is a serious flaw.

My more serious issue is that the following line doesn't work at run time and throws a compiler Sub of Function not defined error: mgSlidePreview.picture = loadpicture(sImagePath) It appears that 'LoadPicture' function is not available in the VBA reference libraries in VBA6.5 for the Mac. Is this true and if so, does this mean it is not possible to load image files into an image control at run time?
