There is only so many different types of skills you can play before they start to overlap in how you actually play them. I think that as soon as diablo 3 gets enough legendaries to support every single skill in the game that it will be a significantly greater game. I think that they should really focus on making new legendaries strictly, if they can't come up with some other great content to give us. Challenge rifts sound potentially interesting however, because with challenge rifts it won't matter if the build is top tier, you are competing with the same gear and same rift as everyone else. I just want them to make a good reward system with it as well. That is just the way they made this game, it just gives them a lot more work because they have to work on creating all these legendaries. The upside to this design though is it gives them the opportunity to make fun legendaries, like the new ring for which doctors that improves the damage on enemies with both locust swarm and haunt on them.

Looking forward to this mini expac, the ascendancy classes look insanely good, i’m sure they’ll be nerfing stuff through the normal passive tree at the same time but the over all effect will still be OP, the marauder one there, 100% increased attack damageii have facebreakers and this would be crazy good with that. A lot of people are crying about build diversity being negatively effected with the sub classes but if anything i can only see it being increased and offering more flexibility in how you can build characters since most of the sub class passives are not limited to weapon type or a specific skill.
